The mother company of Tentoo Payroll Services UK Lt.d (formerly known as Payroll Services UK Ltd.) started out in the Netherlands in 1992. We began by offering our services to the arts and entertainment industries starting with just six artists. These days we are working with more than 40,000 freelancers and contractors worldwide and are active in numerous industries, covering over 350 different trades.

Our UK based company was established in 1998 and has processed the payroll of many of our larger International Client’s British Employees for some time - with experience in many sectors we are now offering our UK services to the self-employed and freelance workers as well.

Tentoo is keen to place its know-how and years of experience with freelancers and artists at the disposal of clients, employees and freelancers.

Our temporary employment agency offers freelancers and their employers the possibility of settling short-term contracts within the legal framework with a minimum of administration. The freelancers are employees of Tentoo Payroll Services for the duration of the assignment. Tentoo invoices the client for the assignment at the agreed price. Tentoo further takes care of the obligatory employer’s social security contributions and taxes. Tentoo also ensures the on-time payment of the net wage to the freelancer and delivery of the social papers.

This way freelancers enjoy the status of employees and build up their rights within social security for employees. The client does not have to clear any more administrative hurdles to employ his talent in time, because that is precisely what Tentoo is there for!
